Around 2007 I started focusing on making jewelry. Luckily at this time I had open access to a glass shop and creative people to work with – thanks to the beautiful and always inspiring Valerie Leavy and Jim McKelvey, co-founder of Square, formerly of Third Degree Glass Factory, who allowed us access to high-quality materials. I’ve sporadically continued this hobby since then.
Around 2010 I began using old watches as frames for paintings, combining small prints of my art with various styles of watch faces and bands from pieces no longer functioning. While these were briefly for sale, only a small number were created.
